Welcome to Gunslinger's Shadow! This is an introductory video of a project we have been working on for decades. The Wild West was built by outlaws and lawmen. History knows many of their names. Gunslinger's Shadow is about William Henry Long, a man who played the pivotal role in nearly every outlaw gang in the west. Trained by the McCarty's and groomed by the Johnson County War in 1892, a member of the Wild Bunch and an undercover outlaw until he died, Bill Long is the most prolific outlaw you've probably never heard of.

Over the next weeks and months, we will be releasing numerous videos, podcasts, historical documents, and interesting discoveries about the men who made the west wild. They fought against the system, big money cattlemen, stole from the rich and mostly....kept if for themselves! However, the story is bigger and more intriguing than many have every believed.

Aliases, daring gun fights, escapes and cover-ups in South America, and living with the knowledge of your own choices--this is the story of the American West through the eyes of William Henry Long, my great grandfather.
